which city is more en route to blyde canyon from sun city in south africa? johannesburg or pretoria?

i’ll be going to kruger via the panoramic route. however, i’ll be staying at sun city the night before. I need to figure out where to meet up with the tour company from which i booked the kruger park tour. their regular starting point is johannesburg, but i’m thinking maybe it’s easier meeting them in pretoria instead because total travel time between the two places may be shorter.
