i would like to know -liquid herbal mosquito repellent as shown in sun tv?
there was a proggramme in sun tv some time back wherein a few drops of a herbal
luquid was placed in a small plate and kept in the house,effectively driving out mosquitos,
very effective
You can make your own. First Buy a citronella plant at your local nursery. Get a good purified carrier oil like Flax Seed oil or if you want a stronger smell you can even use lemon oil (not the stuff they sell for dusting…don’t use that – a natural foods store should have the oils you need.) Add about a teaspoon of lavendar oil with a cup of carrier oil and pull 8 – 10 large leaves off of the citronella plant. Put them in a food processor ( remove stems) and pulverize. Scrape the leaf mash out of the processor, making sure you get all the oils and liquid. I use a spatula to make sure I get it all. Now put that stuff in with your oils and blend it well. Put a couple tablespoons on a saucer and put that saucer on a candle warmer.
The stuff you make smells better and is more potent than that stuff they sell in the stores.
