Hey! Wonder where all of these artists are now that 250 000 people has been murdered under the new SA government.
You sing: “We’re hear to talk about SA” Maybe you shouldn’t talk about things you know nothing about. Its all false propaganda. The blood of 250 000 people are on the hands of all the idiots singing here.

  2. 1233eli says:

    I I I ! Aint gon play sun city !!!!!!!!!! lol

  3. garycalgary says:

this song came out when i was in high school and i started learning about apartheid and i watched things change as nelson mandela got released and things changed.

Most people in high school though at the time didn’t seem to give a shit about the issue

  4. mebsie19 says:

wat a pity ur all so stupid the black africans run sun city and they get all the money from there

  5. OtakuMemphis says:

Wow, I hate The Beach Boys even more now. They played at that awful place.

  6. BrickLaneBetty says:

I hate Mugabe too, I hate the corruption in the ANC and how its ignored internationally but the sad thing is you should blame the Malan government for creating so much international hatred at white South Africa by (hello?) instituting and living off a system that was like Nazi Germany. It destroyed not just countless lives but the intrinsic dignity of human beings and any hope of a decent future for SAs.
If I were living in SA I’d get the hell out asap, that country is doomed by the Malan past.

  7. BrickLaneBetty says:

“Not all was bad! ” Oh Please. SA has huge problems to day BECAUSE of the past. Violence against whites, of which there is plenty is today in SA is completely inexcusable Yes, I agree but realize Apartheid set the stage for all of it.

SA is largely forgotten and ignore by the international community BECAUSE of Apartheid’s “legacy”

Very sad I agree but Apartheid was foul Hitler stupidity. Malan was a barbarian of the lowest order.

  8. fatpizzaman says:

Unfortuantely pop records cannot change the world or cure racist hatred or segregation. Check out Stop Racist Human Skin Phobia’s web page for more evidence that true equality and democracy is still WAY off being a reality. :-(

  9. brunoCarr77 says:

Damn ridiculous about people talking about apartheid without even having a clue of how things were in SA in those days! Not all was bad!

  10. universalpedro says:

    Jeff,
I am afraid apartheid has not been tossed on the ash heap of history but is alive and well in Palestine.

  11. JeffWTruffaut says:

I think many would be more likely to play there now that apartheid has thankfully been consigned to the ash heap of history.

  12. gerryono says:

    probably now they are

  13. krstnlhjt says:

Are world famous artists still not playing at Sun city?

  14. viyau says:

didnt they cut a part at the end?

  15. CrummyRamone says:

Hopefully the World Cup of soccer in that country celebrated any change that situation or at least improve.
    Greetings

  16. CrummyRamone says:

Dude, that was another era, was another situation.
That time of the Apartheid era, many artists came together to protest, but now would be other reasons, and while you are quite right that someone should do something to stop this, at that time the artists got together to protest against Apartheid to was incorrect as the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein or the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, to name examples.

  17. BebeTheGreat says:

You got it Greggybread. Love the way people that have never even set foot on African soil can speak against something they have no idea about.

  18. CanOfWhoopie says:

You pretty much summed it up. This is exactly what SA is all about now.

  19. Unakau says:

This is too much ’80s for me to handle.

  20. opstand19 says:

I would think an american conservative would notice the difference between state agression and violence on the one hand and plain criminality on the other. One to revolt against, one to be ashamed of. Would be a sad song.

  21. clsleamington says:

On a lighter note, that guy who is ‘not dead’ sounds like Robbie Williams, lol.

  22. Greggybread says:

Yeah celestiallygold apartheid was a massive problem. But while they were singing about blacks being opressed, Mugabe killed 20 000 Ndebele because of their refusal to join the Zanu PF. That is a far bigger scale than the opressed in SA. The white government never killed 20 000 blacks but no one sang about Mugabe. And i never said Obama was a communist criminal rapist. I said SA’s next president was. This is about SA isnt it???

  23. Greggybread says:

no sterkfontain what Im saying is, the fucking hypocrites sang and cried injustice when aparthied was happening. Thats fine, but where are they now, now that crime in SA is at an all time high, farmers being targetted because of the colour of their skin, sensless rape and murder. Why are the liberals doing nothing about it now!!! Why did they not cry out when Mugabe chased and killed white farmers in ZIM, why are they not singing about the conditions in ZIM under black rule- Fucking hypocrites

  24. celestiallygold says:

No offense but apartheid was a bigger deal than all of that. I’m not saying that those causes don’t deserve help but apartheid was a huge fucking problem. You can’t criticize them and also want them to sing for something you believe in. And Obama isn’t a communist criminal rapist. It just shows how ignorant you are. What’s wrong with SA now? It’s a lot better than apartheid, dumbass.
Go to some anger management. Stop lashing out against the world, ‘fucktard’.

  25. sterkfontaine says:

You sir are a moron. So what your saying is what they did was pointless and absurd and people should not say anything ever? Speaking out against injustice make someone a ‘Liberal Fucktard”? Wow. Your quite far gone friend! Shit
